Visitors can enjoy an important masterpiece of a genius of the Italian Renaissance, the “Musician” by Leonardo da Vinci, a painting that has never been seen outside the Ambrosiana Library in Milan, on display at the Capitoline Museums.

The “Two Wrestlers”, a terracotta sketch by Michelangelo, was reassembled in its current form in 1926. On display in Rome at the Hall of the Tapestries of the Capitoline Museums on exceptional loan from the Casa Buonarroti in Florence.

The exhibition Il "Bianco" a Tavola: The Italian Majolica between 1500 and 1600 arrives at the Capitoline Museums in Rome after having been on display in two other major museums: the Museum of Ceramics in Ascoli Piceno and the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza.
